Example Itinerary for India Retreat (as in August 2013)


 During your wellness retreat in India, you will enjoy a daily yoga and meditation class, unlimited massage, spa treatments. The food is of the highest quality, and you will always retreat back to one of India’s finest locations feeling safe, secure and totally taken care of. A Health Psychologist and Wellness Coach is available at all times on the retreat to discuss your wellbeing needs in daily life, helping you clarify your needs, and follow your bliss.


  • 11 August - Arrive in Delhi, and meet and greet dinner in the evening.

  • 12 August – Flight Delhi to Srinagar

  • 12, 13, 14 - Explore, shakiras on the lake, traditional arts, and crafts, nature, wildlife, photography, houseboats, and retreat by night to one of the most stunning locations surrounded by the Himalayan mountains where the eagles soar

  •  15 August –  Flight from Srinagar to Leh (flight is via Delhi)

  • 15,16,17-  August. Arrive and plenty of rest to adjust to altitude in Leh. On the following days, explore and enjoy the energy of Leh, With an 85% Buddhist population you will visit monasteries, Tibetan meditation caves high in the mountains, visit an orphanage set up by HH Dalai Lama. Read more about this here.  Leh is a shopper’s paradise. There is an array of traditional Tibetan beautiful things to collect and explore. Wander the bazars and markets, and soak up the feeling of life in Leh, Ladakh. Classes in Meditation and yoga are daily. Unlimited spa treatments and massage, hiking and photographers paradise.

  • 18 August  - Flight Leh – Delhi. Flight Delhi to Udaipur. Arrive to a palace in Udaipur (photographed on Incredible India page). Visit palaces, and explore the most beautiful scenery, lakes, and atmosphere of Rajasthan.

  • 18, 19 August - Spend two nights at a hotel designed on a palace in Udaipur. The images of this stunning hotel are shown on the India page. 

  • 20, 21 August  Two nights in the middle of the lake in Udaipur at an original palace, once the home to a real King and Queen. This was also the setting of a famous James Bond movie.

  • 22 August – Flight Delhi, Dinner and share stories, laughs, and feelings before retreat concludes.You will need to arrange your own accommodation for the 22nd August, as the retreat concludes on this day. Some of you will be travelling on to the Taj Mahal, or out of India depending on your individual plans. Hotels recommendations on request, depending on your individual needs.

Included in your package is all accommmodation, breakfast, daily yoga and meditation classes, all travel, private cars, including local tour guides and knowledge. Your international flights to and from India, and your internal flights within India are not included. This allows you flexibility of which airline you choose, and when you arrive and leave. You may want to include an additional trip to the Taj Mahal at the beginning or end of your retreat.

Please arrange all travel to India so that you are in Delhi on 11th August to have dinner in the evening.

For your internal flights the prices vary greatly depending on how far in advance they are booked, and between airlines. We would like to book all of these flights as a group (so we all travel on the same flight + times)

Once we reach minimum numbers for retreat to run we will be in touch to organize internal flights to suit our travel plans.
